The deadline for submission of abstracts for oral presentation is September
15, 2008. Abstracts submitted after this date will be considered for
poster presentation until October 10, 2008, or until the capacity of the
venue is reached.
To ensure that your abstract retains any special characters
or formatting, the abstract must be in MICROSOFT WORD format.
For
Symposium participants who are not seeking financial support, please note that
in order for an abstract to be considered for presentation, the presenting author
must register before submitting the
abstract. If you are the presenting author of an abstract, indicate on the
registration form that you will be submitting an abstract; after you complete
your registration, you will then be provided instructions about your abstract,
which you may submit either immediately or at a later date.
For
Symposium participants who ARE seeking financial support, follow
the abstract guidelines listed below and submit the required application materials
as described on the Participation Support
page (note: do NOT register online at the usual Symposium registration
page).
If
you have submitted your abstract by September 15, 2008, notification of
the acceptance of your abstract will be sent by September 26, 2008, whereas
notification of the format of your accepted abstract (oral or poster presentation)
will be sent by October 10, 2008. Guidelines for preparing your oral
or poster presentation will be sent with the format notification. Note that
correspondence regarding the acceptance or status of the abstract will only be
sent to the presenting author.
All of the accepted abstracts (oral
and poster) will be posted on this website after the meeting begins. Abstract
