9th Annual Symposium on Antiviral Drug Resistance: Targets and Mechanisms

Limited funds are available to provide financial assistance to postdoctoral fellows, students, and others whose abstracts are selected for presentation but who are not in the position to support their own participation in the 9th Annual Symposium on Antiviral Drug Resistance: Targets and Mechanisms.

Criteria:

Acceptance of an abstract submitted for presentation at this Symposium.  The abstract must be a Microsoft Word file.  For additional details about abstract submission, click hereNote: The presenting author must be indicated on the abstract and must be the same individual who is applying for support.

CV and cover letter from the applicant, including current contact information.

Letter of nomination from the applicant's mentor or supervisor, indicating the applicant's need for participation support and affirming the applicant's status within the organization (e.g., postdoctoral fellow, student, HIV/AIDS researcher).  The letter must be written on departmental letterhead and addressed to the "Symposium Organizing Committee."

The abstract, cover letter, CV, and letter of nomination must be sent by e-mail to Anne Arthur at arthura@ncifcrf.gov no later than SEPTEMBER 15, 2008.

Note:  Individuals who are interested in applying for participation support should not register online at the usual Symposium registration page.  Instead, the required application materials described above should be sent by e-mail to Anne Arthur at arthura@ncifcrf.gov.  If the request for support is granted by the Symposium Organizing Committee, the applicant will then be asked to fill out a modified registration form (as a Word file or PDF file) and submit the completed form to Informed Horizons by email (info@informedhorizons.com) or fax (770-997-2488), respectively.
